Do More with Strathmore event at Hutchesons’ Grammar

On Sunday 31 August, Commonwealth gold medallists and Team Strathmore athletes Libby Clegg and Dan Keatings visited Hutchesons’ Grammar School in Glasgow to host the ultimate insider’s coaching session, courtesy of Strathmore’s Do More campaign.

120 lucky winners got the chance to train with Libby and Dan in either track or gymnastics, with expert coaching sessions as well as Q&As and the chance to meet Scotland’s most decorated gymnast and one of Team Scotland’s most inspiring athletes.

Libby Clegg took gold with guide runner Mikael Huggins in the T12 100m sprint at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games while Dan dominated the men’s gymnastics, winning an individual gold medal on the pommel horse, individual silver in the all-round gymnastics final and taking silver in the team gymnastics final.

It doesn’t take much to Do More; whether you want to take a brisk walk in the mornings or run a 10k, it’s about getting active and taking steps to change your life in the process.

Remember, healthy hydration is vital and you should always hydrate regularly when taking part in any kind of exercise.
